Nine Banded Whiskey kicked off tailgate season with the UT vs. USC game. We celebrated with burnt orange old fashioned cocktails and smoked meats by our friends at Rosso & Flynn. September 15th was not only game day in Austin, but it was also a special day to celebrate one of our favorite organizations, The Playing for Change Foundation. Playing for Change is a global nonprofit that connects & inspires the world through music and is very close to our hearts at Nine Banded Whiskey. We brought in Akin Francis to play live reggae music to celebrate & raise funds to support education through music around the world.
Nine Banded Whiskey took part in a midsummer nights series put on by our friends at Do512, The Long Center and The Alamo Drafthouse. We spent each Wednesday night celebrating local eats, drinks and musicians, before tuning into that week’s featured film. It was a great time for all the Austin brands to gather together and support the community for a free night of fun overlooking the grand silhouette of Austin, Texas sunsets. Join us again next year!
Nine Banded Whiskey and Foster ATX have been long time partners. Foster ATX brings together musicians, chefs, and artists of all types to put on extremely special experiences. They bring the community together through pop up dinners, intimate backyard concerts, and unforgettable installations of all kinds. Nine Banded Whiskey has been along with the girls through it all. We are happy to be a part of their beautiful and unique Austin event experience. They truly are one of a kind.
Nine Banded Whiskey and Native Hostels paired together to create a music series featuring artists around Austin, Texas. We set the scene with an intimate special live music event. Each week during the series we highlight a different genre with some incredible artists. Go Fever, Marma Lakes James Robinson, and the Peterson Brothers were a few of our featured artists from the last series. Be sure to grab tickets to the upcoming shows!
